Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (AZ-305)

The Microsoft Azure (AZ-305) exam has been built to evaluate the skills and knowledge of the candidate to accomplish the technical tasks including -

• Ability to design identity, governance, and monitoring solutions
• Ability to design data storage solutions
• Ability to design business continuity solutions
• Ability to design infrastructure solutions.

The candidates are required to have advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including -

• Networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance.
• The candidate must have the skills to manage decisions in each area that affect an overall solution.
• Also, candidates should have experience in Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps processes.
• Candidates for the Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification should have subject matter expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Microsoft Azure, including compute, network, storage, monitoring, and security.

The Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification will be earned by achieving the given requirements:

• First, earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification and pass Exam AZ-305

OR

• Pass the Exam AZ-303 (before it retires on March 31, 2022) and Exam AZ-305

The responsibilities for the Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions role include

• Advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable Azure solutions.
• Partnering with developers, administrators, and other roles responsible for implementing solutions on Azure.
