What’s the Exam Fee?

For the Members; $520 and for the Non-member; $670 (USD).

How to register for the exam?

Candidates can register via Pearson VUE.

Where can I schedule or cancel my exam?

You can schedule or cancel your exam at Pearson VUE.

Will I be charged for rescheduling or cancelling the exam?

Candidates can cancel or reschedule within 30 days and will be charged for it. ($70). However, if they try to do that within 2 days of their exam, their exam fee will not be refunded.

For how long I can edit or update my application?

You can edit or update your application for 90 days.

When can I schedule my exam?

Once candidates pay the fees for the exam, they can schedule their exam.

What is the policy related to retaking the exams?

Candidates have 1-year eligibility and can make 3 attempts.

How many days does it take for my application to be reviewed?

Approximately 5 days.

For how long is my credential valid?

It’s valid for 3 years.

For how long will I be suspended if I don’t match the recertification criteria?

For 1 year.

What are the available payment methods?

The available payment methods are Credit cards, wire transfer, money order and checks.

How will I get my refunds?

• Candidates can ask for a refund within 30 days of their purchase but there should be no action of scheduling or rescheduling during the period.
• Candidates who wish for a refund after scheduling or cancelling before 48 hours of the exam will be charged for doing so.
• Also, Candidates won’t be given a refund if they cancel it within 48 hours of the exam.

What’s the exam duration?

The exam is 210 minutes long.

How many questions will be asked and in what sort of format?

170 multiple-choice questions will be asked out of which 20 will be unscored.

How will I get my exam results?

• Candidates who gave the CBT will receive their result on the exam day. They can also access it online within 10 days of their exam.
• Candidates who gave the paper-based test will be sent an email regarding the details of their results and when it will be delivered. They won’t receive it on their exam day.
