Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Entry-level Technician Exam(PCCET) is an entry-level, foundational certification. This exam (PCCET) is the replaced version of the Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA). The PCCET certification will include next-level upgrades to deliver knowledge of the several cutting-edge advancements throughout Palo Alto Networks technologies. The renewed PCCET exam is based on knowledge of the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity that will make it a lot easier in accessing the entire Palo Alto Networks credentialing portfolio. This upgraded version will examine the candidate’s knowledge of firewalls as well as the cloud and automation functions of Cortex and Prisma.

Registration Process
- The PCCET exam is conducted by Pearson VUE.
- Visit Pearson VUE, make an account or sign up
- Then, log in to your person account
- Fill out all the personal details asked
- Proceed with the further steps and book the exam
- On the exam day, prepare your testing space by cleaning off your desk or workspace. Ensure there is nothing on the table/desk when you give the exam.
- If there is any additional monitor, make sure to disconnect it. Also, close all other open applications.
- Check-in for your exam at least 30 minutes before the scheduled timing.
PCCET Exam Details
The PCCET Exam comprises around 75-85 questions. All the questions will be either multiple-choice or multiple-responses consisting of scenarios with graphics, and matching. The candidates will have only 80-90 minutes to complete the exam. The registration fee for the exam is $165 USD. The exam is conducted only in one language, i.e English.

PCCET Exam Score Report
- The candidates will get their exam score once they finish giving it informing if they passed or failed the exam.

Cancellation and Recheduling Policies for the PCCET Exam
- If the candidates has to reschedule or cancel their exam appointment, they have to contact Pearson VUE at least 48 hours before the exam scheduled date.
- If rescheduling is done in less than 48 hours in advance to the exam, it is subjected to the same day forfeit of exam fee.
PCCET Exam Retake Policy
- Unfortunately if a candidate fails to pass their exam in a single attempt, Palo Alto Networks requires them to wait for at least a period of 5 business days.
- If a candidate fails their second attempt also, Palo Alto Networks requires them to wait for at least 15 business days before they can give the exam again.
- After the 3rd attempt, a candidate is required to wait for an additional 15 business days before giving the exam again.
- If even after a third attempt the candidate fails to pass the exam successfully, they will need to contact [email protected] before any additional attempts.
