How can I register for the exam?

Follow these steps to register for the exam:

  • Firstly, create an account on the IBM landing page of the Pearson VUE website. There you have to provide your email address and basic demographic information (such as name, address, phone number).
  • Then, Go to the IBM landing page and Sign-in to your account.
  • Further, choose your exam and select a testing location. It will ask for a schedule, date & time for testing. 
  • Lastly, complete the payment process. Then, Pearson VUE will email detailed instructions for taking your exam. The email will include directions, processes, and policies. 

I do not have or do not know my Candidate Testing ID. Can I schedule an appointment without it?

If you do not have or do not know your Candidate Testing ID, you can create a profile with Pearson VUE and select the No, I do not have a Candidate Testing ID option.

If I fail the test, can I take the test again?

Yes. However, if you fail a proctored exam twice, you will need to wait 30 days (from the date of the first test) before retaking the exam

How will I get my score report?

You may access your score report by signing in to your account at www.pearsonvue.com/ibm using your username and password. When you take a test at a Pearson VUE Test Center, the test administrator will provide you with a printed score report before you leave the center.

Can I retake an exam?

Yes, the exam retake policy states the same certification test can only be taken two times within a 30 day period. However, if a certification exam is not completed on the first attempt then, there is no requirement to wait before taking the test again
