Exam Result

Right after successfully completing your MTA Database Fundamentals Exam 98 364, you will be notified of your pass or fail status within a few minutes of completing your exam. Also, printed reports providing your exam score and feedback on your performance will also be provided to you. Your score will be forwarded to Microsoft within five business days. As far as Beta exam results are concerned, your result will be visible on your Microsoft transcript. However, you will see your result only if you’ve achieved a passing score. Also, this result will be published on Pearson VUE’s site within 14 business days, after the live exam is published.
Note – If you are able to clear the beta exam, you will earn Microsoft credit for that exam and will also receive a resulting certification. Moreover, you are not required to retake the exam in its live version after clearing its beta version.

Retake policies

Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) exam follows certain retake policies like:

• The candidate has to go through a waiting period of 24 hours before retaking the exam if he/she is unable to achieve a passing score on the exam for the first time.
• If he/she is unable to secure the passing score for the second time then he/she must wait for 7 days before retaking the exam for another time.
• For each subsequent exam retake, a seven day waiting period is imposed.
• He/she can’t take a given exam any more than 5 times per 12 months. This 12 months period will start from the first attempt. The candidate is then eligible to retake the exam 12 months from that date.

Cancellation and Rescheduling policy

• Microsoft will be temporarily waiving the reschedule and cancellation fee as long as any candidate cancels his/her exams within 24 hours prior to his/her scheduled appointment.
• If any candidate cancels or reschedules his/her exam within 5 business days of his/her registered exam time, a fee will be applied.
• There is no charge liable to any candidate if he reschedules or cancels an exam appointment at least 6 business days before to his/her appointment.
• In case the candidate fails to show up for his/her appointment or doesn’t reschedule or cancel it at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, he/she forfeits the entire examination fee.
