What are the steps for registering for exam?

How many questions are there and what is the passing score?
The COBIT 2019 Foundation Exam has 75 MCQ type questions and you required 65% to pass the exam.
What are the major changes to the CISA Job Practice for 2019?
While the five CISA domains remain similar, there a few noteworthy changes:
The 2019 job practice, or exam content outline, introduces subdomains to better organize task and knowledge statements within the broader domains.
Knowledge statements are rewritten to represent current technology and combined as appropriate to remove redundancies.
Of the 39 task statements in the 2019 CISA Job Practice:
- 35 were carried forward from the current outline but rewritten to use current terminology
- One was eliminated
- 5 are new to the content outline to address emerging changes within the IT audit profession
These changes to the CISA Job Practice, or exam content outline, enhance the preparation experience of exam candidates by including knowledge areas that directly indicate the content of the CISA exam and tasks to identify context for how the knowledge is used in practice.
What’s the difference between exam windows and continuous testing?
Beginning in June 2019, ISACA exams (CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CSX-Audit, CSX-Fundamentals etc. ) are now administered all year round in what is known as Continuous Testing. Exam candidates may register for the exam whenever they are ready to sit for the examination. There are no deadlines as to when an individual needs to register by. you can find more about this by visiting the official site for COBIT.
How do I reschedule my exam?
Candidates who are unable to take the exam on their scheduled date are able to reschedule within their 365-day eligibility period. There is no charge for rescheduling, but it must be done at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If it is within 48 hours from a scheduled appointment, candidates must either take their scheduled exam or forfeit their registration fees.
How do I cancel my scheduled exam?
To cancel the scheduling for your exam (to be able to reschedule), please log-in to your ISACA account and visit you’re my ISACA and click the “Certifications & CPE Management” tab. Next click the “Reschedule or Cancel Your Exam” link. Once you cancel your scheduling, you will be able to reschedule within your 365-day eligibility period. Please be aware that a paid exam registration cannot be canceled, as exam registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you do not reschedule or defer your exam, the registration fees will be forfeited.
What do I do if my exam site was closed before my exam?
If you received a cancellation notice from PSI, you will be able to reschedule your exam by visiting the My Certifications tab of you’re my ISACA profile and clicking the Schedule Your Exam link. What are the primary differences between COBIT 5 & 2019?
2019 version offers greater flexibility and openness to enhances the currency and relevance of COBIT. The introduction of new concepts such as focus areas and design factors allow for additional guidance for tailoring a governance system to the enterprise’s needs. Updated alignment to global standards, frameworks and best practices enhances the relevancy of COBIT
An “open-source” model will allow the global governance community the ability to inform future updates by providing feedback, sharing applications and proposing enhancements to the framework and derivative products in real-time, with further evolutions released on a rolling basis.
New guidance and tools support the development of a best-fit governance system, making 2019 version more prescriptive.
How can I renew my online license?
With the release of COBIT 2019, we are no longer accepting new or renewing COBIT 5 Online subscriptions. We are in the process of evaluating the current landscape and will announce details of a COBIT 2019 Online platform as they become available. If you are interested in licensing COBIT 2019 content.
How can I get my Certificate?
If you have recently taken an exam (COBIT 2019 Foundation, COBIT Design and Implementation), your certificate will be dispatched to you approximately 2 weeks after your exam results have been released.
If you took your exam via ISACA’s eLearning campus (our previous learning management system), you can view your certificate through your My ISACA profile.
What is the value of renewing my COBIT 5 Certified Assessor certification?
The COBIT 5 Certified Assessor credential demonstrates your proficiency as a highly competent IT and business professional who has been trained in performing COBIT-based IT process assessments and has experience in planning, building, running and/or monitoring IT processes.
Many enterprises are still using it and/or are in the process of transitioning from previous versions of COBIT to 2019 version. The benefit for you to stay certified is a personal choice, which may be based upon your current business environment, COBIT 5 use and COBIT 2019 adoption, among other factors.
Will the COBIT 2019 training schemes replace the COBIT 5 training schemes?
ISACA will continue to support the accreditation and delivery of the COBIT 5 training and certificate schemes. COBIT 5 training will continue to live alongside 2019 version training, delivered through our network of accredited training partners or ISACA’s on-site team.

- Will COBIT 5 guidance still be available?
ISACA will continue to support the many governments and non-government organizations that have implemented COBIT 5 since its inception in 2012. All COBIT 5 guidance (and derivative products) will be continue to be available for electronic download or purchase. Additionally, all COBIT® 5 products, resources and related training programs will remain available.
What is COBIT?

Are there near term plans to develop a COBIT 2019 Assessor Program?
ISACA will continue to monitor market demand to inform future development efforts including a performance management approach based on COBIT 2019.
Does COBIT 2019 align with other international standards and frameworks?
One of the guiding principles applied throughout the development of 2019 version was to maintain the positioning as an umbrella framework. Thus, it continues to align with a number of relevant standards, frameworks and/or regulations. The 2019 version includes references and aligns to concepts originating in other sources (e.g., other IT standards and frameworks). In this context, alignment means:
- firstly, COBIT 2019 does not contradict any guidance in the related standards
- secondly, COBIT 2019 does not copy the contents of these related standards
- lastly, COBIT 2019 provides equivalent statements or references to related guidance
Is COBIT a standard?
It is a framework. Unlike a standard, which requires an enterprise to follow the complete guidance as documented, a framework is flexible and can (and should) be tailored based on an enterprise’s context, operating model, culture, size, risk profile, business needs, etc.
