Certified Cost Professional (CCP)
A Certified Cost Professional (CCP) is an expert practitioner with excellent knowledge and technical expertise to implement the broad principles and best practices of Total Cost Management (TCM) in the planning, accomplishment, and management of any organizational project or program. Certified Cost Professionals also show the capacity to research and communicate features of TCM principles and practices to all levels of the project or program stakeholders, both internally and externally. The Certified Cost Professional (CCP) training course will teach candidates the techniques of estimating, planning, and cost control for the various stages of an industrial project.

The CCP Certified Cost Professional exam is a professional level examination.
Certified Cost Professional Exam Details
The Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam is a professional-level certification. Further, the exam consists of 120 questions which are in the form of multiple-choice and compound, scenario questions. The candidate needs to score 70% marks in order to clear the AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam. For CCP, you must also pass your technical paper to pass the overall exam. The exam will be Closed Book – onscreen formula sheet(s) will be available for use. Also, the candidate will be given 5 hours to complete the exam.

Recertification Policy
Recertification is necessary to verify continuing competence for maintaining AACE certification for an additional certification term. Recertification is every three years. The candidate must complete an application through their AACE profile. They may choose to apply for Recertification by Activity or Recertification by Examination from the menu options before the expiration date. There is no opportunity to apply for recertification in any other manner.
