What are the prerequisites of Certified Commercial Contract Manager(CCCM™)exam?

- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree
- The ones without degree must at least have 5 years of verifiable experience in contract management plus 24 college credits that align with the CMBOK competencies may request a waiver.
- Candidates with degrees from outside the United States must be checked by an independent third party, such as World Education Services, Scholaro, Credit Eval, Info Check USA, or SpanTran.
- People must have two years of work experience in the field of contract management or related fields.
- Candidates should have minimum of 80 hours of CPE/CLP (Continuing Professional Education (CPE).

CPE credit is awarded on the basis of NCMA’s Contract Management Continuing Professional Education Guide(CPE Guide). The CPE Guide basically provides guidance on acceptable and unacceptable CPE, how to earn CPE, the evidence required to receive CPE credit, and the competencies to which the CPE must align.

How can one schedule the Certified Commercial Contract Manager(CCCM™)exam?
In order to schedule your CCCM™ certification program, complete and submit the application along with:
- Your college or university’s transcripts or written waiver request.
- Your work experience (CV, resume, or employer records).
- Proof of at least 80 CPE/CLP hours.
- The application fee that is $150 for NCMA members and $350 for nonmembers.
After completing the application, the certification department formally review everything within 15 business days. If approved, you will be given one year and three attempts to pass the exam. Moreover, the test will be scheduled through NCMA’s testing provider, Kryterion. You will have to select the date, time, and testing location based off of your zip code. The exam fee is $125 in the U.S. & Canada and $150 internationally.

Can special needs be accommodated when taking the exam?
You may request special needs accommodations for any NCMA exam in case of any disability, handicap, and/or other conditions that may impair your ability to take the exam. Accordingly you will have to identify your need for exam accommodations as part of the application process.
