What is the eligibility requirement for CCBA certification?
Candidate must have completed minimum 3750 hours of Business analysis training in the past 7 years and also 900 hours in 2 of the 6 BABOK Guide knowledge areas or 500 hours in 4 of the 6 BABOK guide knowledge area. It is also required to have 21 hours of Professional development training within 4 years.
I am fresher, is CCBA certification good for me?
If you are fresher then you are not applicable for CCBA certification. You need to have experience in business analysis. It is recommended to go for ECBA certification.
How many Professional development units will I receive for CCBA exam certification?
You will receive 21 professional development units for CCBA certification.
Can I use previously entered work experience and/or professional development hours to get eligible for higher level certification?
Yes you can use the previous work experience or professional development working hours to move to higher level.

Is it possible to reschedule the exam?
Yes, you can reschedule the exam by logging into the PSI site and then click on cancel or reschedule. This process has to be done 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
What does extenuating circumstance means?
It can be defined as an event that would lead you to request for reschedule or cancel the exam at no cost or to request for application extension.
What happens if I miss the exam or arrive late to the exam?
If you miss the exam date without cancelling or rescheduling in advance and paying the necessary fee, you will be considered a no-show and will have to forfeit the exam fee or rewrite fee you already paid, unless there is an extenuating circumstance.
When will I receive my exam certificate?
After passing the exam you will receive a confirmation email from IIBA and within 2 weeks you will receive the Certificate on your email.
For how long is my CCBA certification valid?
Your certification is valid for 3 years. Every 3-year cycle, you must report 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) to renew your certification.
