Associate in Project Management (APM)

The Associate in Project Management (APM) is an entry-level certification in the area of Project Management Framework. The APM certification is developed to test the candidate’s knowledge required in the field of Project Management limiting to the entry-level of project management. Even candidates who have little or no knowledge of project management can take the APM certification exam. Project Management is not only for construction engineers and military logistics experts. In today’s competitive world, it is often expected from the individual to take additional assignments along with the regular duties and complete them under budget, and within the stipulated time. APM-001 Exam Details

APM-001 is a multiple-choice question or multiple-response question. It comprises a total of 50 questions. The candidates need to score 70% to successfully pass the exam. The exam is conducted in an online mode. The candidates are required to complete the exam in a maximum of 60 minutes. The exam validity period is a lifetime. In this exam, no external resource of information can be accessed during the exam conducted by ProctorU. Only identification proof is required.

Pre-requisites for APM-001

There is no mandatory prerequisite for the Associate in Project Management. Although it is recommended for the candidates to complete the E-Course from Global Association for Global Management portal. It is recommended because completing the E-course will increase the chance to pass the APM exam because a maximum number of questions are extracted from the e-course in the actual APM-001 exam.

Retake Policy for the exam

If a candidate faces failure or is not able to pass the exam in the second attempt, they are required to wait for a period of at least fourteen calender days starting from the date of the attempt to fretake the exam for the third attempt or any subsequent time.

The candidate can take the APM exam countless times.

Cancellation/Rescheduling/Refund Policy

The candidates who want to cancel the APM certification exam appointment conducted online through computer-based testing will have to contact ProctorU at least 72 hours before the scheduled exam date and time in order to get a refund. Candidates will not be charged anything if cancelled the exam 72 hours in advance.

If any candidate cancels or reschedules the exam in less than 72 hours through phone notification or via online notification is obliged to forfeit exam fees. Exam fees are also forfeited if not appear for the exam.

Registration Process for APM-001 E-Course and Exam

There are three packages that the candidate can choose from-

Premium Package

This package will include E-Course, e-voucher and access key for the certification exam. This is self-explanatory and has a validity period for 40 days. The e-voucher and access key can be used through ProctorU globally. In this package, the candidates will be sent a hard copy shipped to the mailing address and a digital badge will also be sent to your registered email if qualified for the exam. The cost for this package is $175 USD.

Standard Package

This package is also a self-explanatory and is valid for 20 days. Although this package will not include the e-voucher for the certification exam. Candidates will have to buy the e-voucher separately to take the exam. The course duration is 20 days and costs $70 USD.

Exam Voucher

In this package, the candidates will have to purchase from the E-Voucher Store for scheduling the exam via ProctorU. Note that one voucher can be used by only one person, one time, for one exam discount. This has a validity period for 240 days and costs $128 USD.

How to Register?

Firstly visit the ProctorU website for GAQM.
Log in with your ProctorU user ID and password.
Now, select the ‘New Exam’ option displayed and choose the exam APM-001 to schedule.
Select a date from the calender and set a time from the drop down menu.
You can see the available dates in blue and the available time slots shown in the drop down menu.
Click on the ‘Add Reservation’ to add the appointment.
Then, you will be asked to pay for the exam and provide the necessary information and click ‘Submit’ to authorize the credit card payment.
