1. What is the MB-310 exam all about?

The MB-310 exam, commonly known as Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, is a foundational test for financial professionals. The applicant will be able to do the following technical activities after passing the MB-310 exam:

  • Managing and applying common processes
  • The candidate will be able to implement and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Managing, budgeting and fixing assets.

  • Functional Consultants who examine business requirements and decipher those elements into fully-realized business processes. Also, they come up with solutions that achieve industry best practices. Further, they must be able to implement and configure applications to satisfy business requirements.

For Microsoft MB-310 exam-

12. Why is the case study exam format used?

Microsoft adds complex scenarios in the case study questions. Through this, Microsoft can accurately simulate the working methodology of professionals. Such questions aim to test your ability in identifying the critical information which is necesaary to solve any problem and then analyzing and synthesizing it to make final decisions.

13. After I complete a case study, will I be able to review the questions?

Until you move to another case or section, you can review the questions. However, once you’ve left that particular case study, you will be unable to review the associated questions. After completing a case study and answering its associated questions, a review screen will appear. This screen allows you to review your answers and to make necessary changes if you want, before jumping to another case study.

14. What is the process for determining if an exam has been updated when a new feature or function is added or when something has changed in the associated technology?

Microsoft reviews its cloud-based exams every two months. Any changes in the objective domain and the already existing questions are directly incorporated into the exam.

15. How will I know if the exam has been updated when a new feature or function is added or when something has changed in the associated technology?

Microsoft notifies about any such change or update, via the exam details page. Microsoft recommends you sign up for such communications to keep yourself informed about any updates.

16. How and when will I get my exam results?

Right after successfully completing your exam, you will be notified of your pass or fail status within a few minutes of completing your exam. Also, printed reports providing your exam score and feedback on your performance will also be provided to you. Microsoft gets your score within five business days.

Beta Exam Result – Result will be visible on your Microsoft transcript. However, you will see your result only if you’ve achieved a passing score. Also, this result will be published on Certiport’s site within 14 business days, after the live exam is published.

17. Who should I contact if I have questions concerning beta exam results?

If you have not received any report within two weeks after the final exam got published, then you must contact the exam delivery provider. Contact Certification Support, for any query related to your transcript.

18. Who should I contact if I do not receive my 25% voucher for taking a beta exam?

If you have not received your discount voucher within 4 weeks of the live exam, then you must contact the customer service support team of the exam delivery provider.

19. Can I find out whether I answered a specific question correctly or whether how I answered a specific question affected my pass/fail status?

No, you cannot get such a detailed report. Microsoft aims to measure candidates’ skills for a given job role, and not their ability to memorize questions. Microsoft does not share such information to protect the integrity of its certification process.

20. How are questions scored? How many points is each question worth? Will I be penalized for answering a question incorrectly?
  • Most of the questions are one point questions
  • No negative marking
  • Some questions are unscored – Microsoft will not provide information about such questions
21. How are exam scores calculated?

After completing the exam, the earned points are summed up and compared with the cut score to determine your exam status.

22. What score do I need to pass an exam?

A passing score of 700 on a scale of 1 to 1000, is required to receive your Microsoft Certification.

24. Can I request a re-evaluation of my score?

In case Microsoft encounters and error in the questions given in the exam, then it provides candidates to retake the exam free of charge. We recommend you to submit an online request, if you have any query related to the technical accuracy of any specific item. After submitting your request, an Item Challenge form will be sent to you.

25. How can I challenge an exam question?

You can request an evaluation of that particular question via the Exam Item Challenge process. You can submit the challenge within 30 calendar days of taking the exam.
