The Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) Exam was created to verify a candidate’s ability to implement and operate Aruba campus switching solutions at an enterprise level. It assesses the ability to configure and manage modern, open standards-based networking solutions in medium to large enterprise networks utilizing ArubaOS-CX routing and switching technologies.
What are the topics covered in the exam?
The exam covers topics including –
- Domain 1 – Understanding to plan the wired network solution (15%)
- Domain 2 – Understanding to Install and configure the wired network solution (43%)
- Domain 3 – Understanding to troubleshoot the wired network solution (22%)
- Domain 4 – Understanding to manage, maintain, optimize, and monitor the wired network solution (20%)
What is the exam format?
- Exam Code: HPE6-A73
- Exam Format: Proctored
- Exam duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 60 questions
- Passing score: 71% and above
- Exam languages: Japanese, English, Latin American Spanish
For how long is the exam valid?
The certification is valid for three years from the date certification was achieved.
Who should take the exam?
- The candidates planning to take the this exam are networking IT professionals with advanced-level implementation experience with ArubaOS-CX wired switching solutions.
- Also, the candidates are required to have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of general networking experience together with 2 years of experience with a focus on interpreting network architectures and customer requirements to install and configure Aruba solutions.
What are the recertification paths?
You must pass one of the following tests before the expiration date to recertify:
- Firstly, pearsonVUE allows you to pass the current exam.
- Secondly, pearsonVUE will help you pass the Aruba Certified Switching Expert paper test (available 2020)
- Pass the Aruba Edge professional test if you are qualified.
