Symmetric encryption, uses the same key to encrypt and decrypt data.
Digital Signature – a cryptographic output used to verify the authenticity of data. Use asymmetric cryptography. It
- verifies integrity of the signed data
- non-repudiation if the signer claims the signature is not authentic
