Marketing Cloud account is the basic interaction between Salesforce and the end user which links the two. The Marketing Cloud account helps organizations to better focus on other crucial tasks. Monitoring involves recording and observing values from various measurable aspect of the contact and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Marketing Cloud account is the single point or dashboard where in all your details of the account are listed. It has details on the roles, permissions and users which are present against the account. Monitoring this account helps in boosting the availability and performance.

Salesforce Trust Site

  • It gives system health details
  • Has 3 sections
    • System Status – gives visual representation of the health of instances.
    • Security – provides overview of security practices.
    • Compliance – displays standards Salesforce is compliant  with.

System Status Tab

  • It has status sites for each product
    • The status color as Green indicates that this instance is available and fully functional.
    • Status color as Orange indicates that the instance is experiencing performance degradation.
    • The status color as Red indicates that this instance is experiencing a service disruption.
    • Status color as Blue indicates that the instance is undergoing maintenance.

Use APIs

  • API (application programming interface) can be used to import data
  • The API uses a Swagger REST

The Security tab

  • Has details for securing Marketing Cloud instances.
  • Best practices links are at the top
  • Information collected by user roles.is in middle portals
  • Links to training materials like Trailhead modules at bottom

Compliance Tab

  • Lists national and international security standards
