The Certified Blockchain Security Professional (CBSP) exam consists of 70 multiple-choice questions. 

What is the time duration for the CBSP exam?

The candidate will get 90 minutes to complete the exam that is a performance-based evaluation of Blockchain Security skills and knowledge. However, here performance-based testing means that candidates must answer questions to reflect what they must perform on the job. 

How much does a candidate have to score to pass the CBSP exam?

To pass the exam, candidates have to score a minimum of 70%. 

What is the CBSP exam language and cost?

This exam is available in English language and it will cost $300 USD. 

For how long does the CBSP voucher is valid?

This exam voucher expiration is one year from the purchase date.

How to register for CBSP Exam?

Candidates applying for the CBSP exam can purchase an exam voucher from the Blockchain Official page or Sign in/Create an account with Pearson VUE. However, the exam appointments have to be made in advance or on the day you wish to test, subject to availability. The time limit of exam/appointment testing is noted on Pearson VUE web pages that reflect the total appointment time, including an NDA, exam time, and survey.

What is the CBSP exam scores and reporting format?

The exam official scores come immediately following the exam from Pearson VUE. However, to pass for example the CBSP exam, a candidate must score at least 70%. Exam results are shown as pass or fail with the percentage provided.

What is the Blockchain Training Alliance exam retake policy?

Candidates who fail the exam must purchase a new exam voucher to test again. However, a candidate who does not pass an exam must wait at least 48 hours to retake the exam. Likewise, they must wait for 14-days for each subsequent attempt. Candidates who have passed a certain exam may not take the same exam (defined as an exam of the same version with the same exam number) again within 12 months of when the exam was passed. 

Why is the ID requirements process done?

A photo of the candidate is included with the score report provided at the Pearson VUE testing center for maintaining the highest level of security and authentication at the Blockchain Training Alliance. However, the testing center administrators have to take a photograph of each candidate prior to testing. 

My certificate has my name spelled incorrectly, how can I get this fixed?

How often are changes made to the exam?

Blockchain Training Alliance has an obligation to its members to maintain the relevancy of its credentials; exams are routinely updated and may happen as often as once a month. These enhancements are the result of a rigorous, methodical process we follow to routinely update its credential exams.

How often do I need to Re-certify?

Your certification expires two years to the date you take and pass the exam.

I never received my certificate in the mail/or/How long does it take to receive my certificate in the mail?

Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your training package, including certification token.
