Six Sigma Green Belt – The Synopsis

All the exams are open-book. Only personally developed notes from training or refresher courses are allowed, given the following conditions -

1. Candidates must get their reference materials reviewed by the proctor
2. The Exam Proctor is considered as the final authority on the admissibility of all reference materials
3. Questions and answers Booklets or course quizzes are NOT ALLOWED.
4. Also, reference material containing such questions copy is not allowed unless the questions are removed
5. Candidates taking the exam must abide by applicable copyright laws

Six Sigma Black Belt project is one that uses appropriate tools within a Six Sigma approach to producing breakthrough performance and real financial benefit to an operating business or company.

Some projects that do not qualify -

1. Prepackaged or classroom exercise with no actual “hands-on” work.
2. With no real-time company or business unit
3. General product improvement projects not associated with process improvements.

2. CSSGB exam has 110-question (100 questions are scored and 10 are unscored.)

5. All examinations are open book with the exception of the constructed response (essay) portion of the CMQ/OE exam. 
   

1. Six Sigma Green Belt certification requires over 3 years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Green Belt Body of knowledge.
