What do I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my exam appointment?
The candidate may reschedule or cancel an appointment up to 24 hours prior to the beginning of the appointment. They may not reschedule or cancel an appointment once it has started. If they do not perform the exam at the scheduled time and did not contact Examity 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule, they will be charged the full exam fee.
If I fail the exam, can I retake it?
If the candidate fails to clear an Okta exam, they may retake the examination under the following conditions: They can retake a failed examination after 14 days from the date of the most recent attempt. They can take an exam up to 3 times in 1 year from the date of their first attempt. If the candidates fail the exam 3 times, they may not retake the examination without consent from the Okta Certification Program
Am I required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before taking an Okta Certification exam?
To secure the value of the certification, all candidates should accept the terms and conditions of the Okta Program Agreement while the registration method and at the starting of any Okta certification exam.
Acceptance of terms is required to be certified and to sustain valid certification. Downloading the agreement and reading it in full before scheduling the Okta exam. If the candidates are not willing to be bound by the Agreement, they will not be allowed to take the exam.
What will I receive after passing the exam?
After all published requirements are met, candidates will earn the certification credential and be authorized to use the certification title and logo on your business cards and other professional collateral.
Can we use reference materials during an Okta Certification exam?
Okta certification exams are closed book. The use of reference materials (hardcopy or electronic) is prohibited during the examination. candidates are also not allowed any electronic devices during testing.
When will I get my exam results?
The final exam result will be delivered to the candidate via email within seven (7) days of taking the exam.
What should I have when taking an Okta Certification exam?
The candidate will require a computer with a video camera, audio (both microphone and speaker), a browser, and strong internet. The candidate must bring his ID to verify his identity prior to beginning an exam.
Where can I take an Okta Certification exam?
Okta exams are delivered in a proctored, online form which indicates that exams can be taken from any location at a time that is convenient for the candidate, without travel to a test center.
How do I schedule to take an Okta Certification exam?

What is the registration fee for exams?
Okta Certified Professional and Administrator examination fees are $150 USD for each attempt. The Okta Certified Consultant Exam fee is $300 for every attempt. No discounts are provided for retakes. Payment for the exam is done during the appointment method and may be paid for by credit card or by utilizing an exam voucher given by Okta.
How long will my certification be valid?
After the candidate achieves a credential, they must fulfil requirements in order to keep credentials current and use the Okta certification logos. This may involve the completion of special training, recertification examinations, or even appearing for core exams at designated intervals. The candidate will get notified by Okta regarding conditions and timeline for performing recertification activity.
