IBPS conducts IBPS PO - General/Economy/Banking Awareness test in which it validates candidate’s knowledge by laying special focus on economy and banking related current affairs and concepts. Banking Awareness essentially means having an overall knowledge about the banking and financial system. Also, the basics of Indian economy ought to be known.

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

After the completion of your exam, the points you earned on each question are totaled and then compared with the cut score to determine whether the result is pass or fail.

The final selection is made by taking into consideration the cumulative scores of Mains and Interview in the ratio of 80:20.

There is no restriction on number of attempts.

The Interview Process will constitute of 100 marks and the minimum marks for qualifying this round will be 40% which is reduced to 35% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.

0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in IBPS PO exam.
