  • Unless you hold a current CAPM certification, you must have at least 35 contact hours of formal project management education in addition to the above project management experience. However, you do not need to record the 35 contact hours if you have a current CAPM certification. 
  • And, if you completed a GAC-accredited graduate degree, you will be given a 12-month credit toward your work experience requirement. Additionally, the GAC coursework can be used to meet the 35 education contact hour requirement.
PMP Exam Format

A total of 180 questions comprise the PMP examination. Five of the 180 questions are considered pretest.
